Why wont my Garmin Nuvi 200W based on my dashboard stick?

Hello, I bought a brand new Garmin Nuvi 200W and tried it out for the first time and everything went well. I Try it for a second time and something happed to the Stickey tape on the underside of the dash board mount for the GPS, because they used to stick at all now. It looks like a small circle of tape on the floor and after I have the GPS for the first time i replaced the small round cover, allegedly on the stick surface ……. i removed the protective cover the 2nd Time that I used to protect the GPS-based, and it wont stick on the dashboard at all. Who knows what they have done wrong could? Thanks I will choose a best answer

I have the same device. The tape on the underside of the dash board suction cup plate "will only to work if you do stay, a clean surface. Once it sticks, it should be left as a fixture on the dashboard. If you need to Remove the GPS device, you can use the suction cup holders pop, and it is separated from the plate. If the tape does not work anymore. You can always side some double-tape from your local DIY store (or Walmart) and replace the tape, which comes with the black suction. 3M is a good double-sided tape and it effect is miraculous. Make sure you clean the surface of the dashboard before you stick the suction it. And please, let it sit for a while and preferably overnight before using it with the GPS. Also, make sure that the plate is mounted on a fairly flat part of the dashboard. Hope that helps. I love my Nuvi 200W.
