Best GPS for routing and regular destinations?
When I move to a university in a new city, I completely lost how to drive everywhere. I want an affordable GPS € 400-600 that can mount in my car (I have a 2001 Volvo normal, model cars to have GPS?) I want one that will talk to me and reroute me somewhere where there is a car accident or roadworks. I would also preloaded with maps (which are always accurate?) And no monthly fee. I've heard that Garmin is a good brand, and Tom Tom, but someone told me that she gets lost … Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
You should be able to use a GPS device in your car, while not a specific type of windshield will have to block GPS signals. I do not think a 2001 Volvo is one of those, but you can check them all for your specific model on the following link. Whatever your needs, I think that Garmin would be the best. Specifically I think the Garmin Nuvi 350. This is in your price range and it has everything you said you need. It gives you spoken with specific instructions from a street map loaded with almost every street in America. It has more than 6 million points of interests for the load as restaurants, Govt. buildings, industry etc. etc. You can also buy a traffic receiver accessory to file information that they receive automatically route around.
